Iniibig Kita

I’m here in the car. I’m happy just being here because this is the only place I know you will always be with me. I wish I could sing this to you:

iniibig kita. iniibig kita. iniibig kita.

I want you to know ALWAYS that this is exactly how I feel for you.

It is a usual Friday  rush hour. Traffic. Everybody seems to be in a hurry going home. Some just to change clothes for the Friday Night Gimmick. Some for their telenovela. I have my own reason too - to prepare for a party the following night. 34g

As I was listening to the car radio, I heard the DJ said: "If you can’t learn to accept anything on faith, then you are doomed for a life dominated by doubt."   34k
I stop and asked myself, "Is he talking to me?" For the past few days I’m having some issues about me & my faith. I have this feeling that I’m going nowhere. As if I’m working for nothing. I have a lot of doubts about my friends, family, work and myself too.

When I got home I searched for that quote over the net. Mr Google told me it’s from the movie "Miracle on the 34th Street".Miracleon34thstreet_2

Like I always do, I relate everything I read, hear and see to what’s going on in my life - 34th Street & I’ll be turning 34 years old. Hmmm! Is this for real? Is this a way GOD want to send His message across? I believe it is. GOD truly works on wondrous ways.

Now, I’m 34 still facing a life dominated by doubts. I know I can get through this by faith. 34i
GOD is a good provider because I asked Him to give me all the things around me so I can enjoy LIFE but He gave me LIFE so I can enjoy all the things around me.

I know. I’m certain.  I have my own miracle too - 34 years of MIRACLE.

31 things on my 31st

Posted on July 4, 2005 by jcgabes.
Categories: life.

Today is my 31st birthday. Below are the 31 things you should know about me:

  1. My given name is Julius Caesar Ramon Garcia Abes. When I asked others how did my parents came up with my name, they usually guess I was named after the Roman Statesman or my parents is a fanatic of Shakespeare. The answer is NO. I was named Julius because I was born on the month of July and Caesar because I was delivered via Caesarean operation. How about Ramon? My grandmother suggested adding Ramon in honor to St. Raymund/Ramon Nonato, the patron saint of the pregnant women. My mother is at risk when she is conceiving me. Signs of abnormalities came up as I grew up. Hehe!

  1. I was the youngest of five children. 3 girls and 2 boys. I’m supposed to be the sixth child but my mother had a miscarriage before me. Again this explains the reason for some abnormalities. Lol.

  1. AKA: JC, Jules, July, Oyong. Yaiks! Where does Oyong come from? Those interested to know just call me. :D

  1. I’m Single. Good Sign or Bad Sign?

  1. The five people I truly love:

    1. JCGA – we have the same initials. My 1st.

    2. JLMB – I wonder where you are!

    3. CPT – a great teacher of life & love

    4. ECN - became a good friend

    5. JGS – 8

If you want to know them just wait for my future blogs.

  1. The 6 important dates that changed my life:

    1. January 20, 1992

    2. May 15, 1992

    3. August 23, 1997

    4. April 1, 1998

    5. December 25, 2002

    6. February 2, 2003

Anyone knows how to time travel?

  1. The 7 most memorable places I’ve been:

    1. St. Andrew’s Seminary

    2. UST - Library

    3. 12-C Everlasting St. Roxas District

    4. Sarabia Manor Hotel in Iloilo

    5. Corner of Champaca and Scout Chuatoco Sts., Roxas District

    6. 21-C Azucena St. Roxas District

How come? I’ll explain in my future blogs.

  1. The things my parents teach me: to gather crumbs of happiness to make a loaf of contentment, love myself and respect others.

  1. My best friend is Leon Roldan III. We met October 27,1997. Jon, please lang wag ng kalimutan ang date. It’s a private joke.

  1. My trusted friends: Cathy, Mardee, Euclid and Melvin. X-ray, CT Scan, US and MRI are the only things na hindi pa nila nakikita mula sa akin.

  1. It will only take 11 minutes or less for me to get a sleep. Family and friends would call me “MASAN”. MASANdal tulog.

  1. Things I can’t live without: cell phone, Internet, TV.

  1. I’m a movie addict and a couch potato.

  1. I love to eat. Japanese. Filipino. Thai. Spanish. Chinese is the best. (Double meaning? Kayo talaga!)

  1. I value friendship more than money. Pero money na lang kaya para I can share it with friends. Hehe!

  1. I’m a writer. I have a collection of poems, short stories and essays. Currently I’m working on my autobiography.

  1. I collect Adidas. Sa wala pang gift pakibile na ang Vintage Adidas Travelling Bag in Greenbelt.

  1. 10 bottles of Strong Ice can’t make me tipsy but it surely can make me cry.

  1. I’m a hopeless romantic. I miss the feeling of being in-love. I believe that there is someone for everyone. San ka na ba talaga?

  1. I believe in KARMA.

  1. I believe that the greatest things are: faith, hope & love.

  1. GREATEST POSSESION: my BODY! Panalo! Hehe! … my heart & soul.

  1. WISH: World Peace! Kidding aside, all I want is a simple life. I believe I have all the things that would make me happy. All I want right now is someone who I can call my own.

  1. MESSAGE: I cant believe I’m 31y/o. To everyone who made bad things against me, I have forgiven you. To all I’ve hurt one way or another, my apologies. Thank you for taking time to read this. Thank GOD for life, grace, love and mercy. To everyone – FRIENDS FOREVER, FOREVER FRIENDS.
